Who doesn’t love a Christmas Fayre? If you were looking for carol singing, mulled wine and beautiful gifts then this was the place to be. This weekend we had the pleasure of attending Jimmy’s Farm Christmas Fayre. This was an exciting opportunity for us to showcase our latest products and meet lots of lovely new customers.
We were delighted to be amongst some of Suffolk’s finest, our neighbours for the weekend were; Smally’s Biltong, The East Coast Chilli Company and Yummy Mummy Candles to name a few. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products and food that were on offer and felt privileged to be alongside them. Alongside running our stall we spent the weekend tasting all that was on offer and we certainly took advantage of this! I have to say that Los Churros Amigos won hands down for me, I just can’t resist them (especially when accompanied by melted Belgium chocolate)!! You can’t beat those lovely doughnuts! The Jimmy’s Farm team excelled themselves with the hog roast, on day one we had the delicious hog roast in brioche bun, and on day two we had the award winning hot dogs, both were equally delicious and by the queues I can tell you that we were not the only ones to enjoy them.
Being a country fayre it was no surprise that the most popular items sold on the day featured the beautiful Flohr & Co pheasant linen, this is a linen that has been hand designed and printed in the UK making it the perfect fabric for bespoke pieces for the country home. We launched our Christmas wax melts at the fayre and these were very popular with scents on offer of; Christmas Tree, Gingerbread and Candy Cane ~ do get in touch if you would like to place an order.
Jimmy’s Farm Christmas Fayre was the perfect venue to promote Shadey Character’s bespoke lamps, they have been increasing in popularity over the past few months and took off to new levels at the fayre. The lamps are assembled from vintage items that hold a great deal of sentimental value and memories with many. The quote of the day was “Look at those lamps”. Whilst many of the lamps are made from vintage cameras, other items such as a copper tea pot, Robert’s radio and oil cans have been turned into beautiful lamps. The feedback from our customers was very encouraging and commissions were also taken on the day for specific items.
Jimmy’s Farm was a beautiful venue for a Christmas Fayre, being surrounded by rolling countryside and farm animals certainly added to the beauty of the event, being greeted each morning by these noisy sheep made turning up to work a pleasure.
We had a great time over the two days and it came to lovely close with the lights twinkling on the Christmas tree, we look forward to doing it all again next year! Thank you to all that came to see us at the fayre.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas xx
